Acording to the White House on March14, President Biden will make an executive order announcement in Monterey Park, California, with the aim of boosting the number of background checks performed before the sale of firearms and bringing the United States as near to having universal background checks as possible without additional legislation. The Executive Order will also reinforce efforts to hold the gun industry accountable, keep more firearms out of dangerous hands by enhancing the effective use of "red flag" regulations, and speed up law enforcement efforts to find and apprehend the shooters posing a threat to our communities.
